Africa-rooted · Evidence-driven · Community-led
Science. Nature. Communities. A Greener Future.
Tawi Green connects African natural resources, scientific research, sustainable enterprise and community-led development to build resilient livelihoods, healthier communities and environmentally responsible economies.

Where we work
At the intersection of environment, science and enterprise.
Development challenges in Africa rarely arrive one at a time. Degraded land affects food security; food security affects health; health and income shape whether communities can invest in their environment. Tawi Green works across these connections, combining applied research with community co-design and, where appropriate, responsible commercialisation — so that solutions can sustain themselves rather than depend indefinitely on grants.

From evidence to enduring solutions.
Commercialisation is used where appropriate to create financially sustainable solutions rather than perpetual donor dependence. Where a market model is not suitable, we replicate through public and community systems.
